Bringing the Social Media Into Mainstream: Mapping A Functional Blueprint

The social media is slowly but surely emerging as the preferred mode of gratification for a considerable chunk of media users. However, the proposition of considering the possibility of bringing the social media into the fold of the mainstream media necessarily demands mapping a functional blueprint that would address the role, duties, responsibilities and restrictions accompanying the former in toto in today’s scenario.
