Campina is one of the leading dairy companies in the world and one of the few that
produces only dairy products (P.669, Shopper, Buyer, and Consumer Behavior: Theory,
Marketing Applications and Public Policy Implications). Because this company only offers dairy
products, different aspects of dairy could be marketed to draw in consumers and increase
revenue. Campaigns shining light on keeping our body’s healthy, reducing obesity, and organics
would be good ideas for Campina.
It is important for a person to keep his or her body healthy, this is a fact. Those that keep
their bodies healthy have more energy and feel better about them physically and emotionally. All
of these factors increase overall happiness. If Campina could market these characteristics of
keeping our bodies healthy, the campaign could draw in potential consumers. There is a huge
market, just waiting for Campina to jump on it! Many people want to be healthy, if they are not
already. Some may just not know where to start or even how to start. Campina could change that,
all they would need to do is advertise.
Obesity is a huge problem in our world today. Not all countries have issues with obesity,
but the ones that do, really should strive towards a better life for all of its citizens. Eating
healthier is an important thing to do to fight obesity in the short run and long run. Campina could
advertise that for most people who are able, eating or drinking dairy products is an important
factor to fight obesity and become healthy, among other factors, such as eating plenty of fruits
and vegetables. Having a balanced diet is crucial to weight loss and having healthy bodies.
Campina should include this in their advertisements. Having this advertisement campaign could
possibly change the minds of many people who do not pay attention to what goes into their
bodies.
Studies show the more foods are processed, the less healthy they are. Processed foods
may have more sodium and sugar, among a number of other unhealthy additives. These additives
are used to preserve foods. A lot of people would argue that eating organic foods vice processed
foods is a better lifestyle. Whatever decision a single person or a family should make, it is
important to stay away from the too-salty or too-sugary foods. As mentioned above, dairy
products are also a key ingredient for a healthy lifestyle. Campina could offer organic dairy
products with a wide variety of selections to choose from. Among these products could be
different types of milk, many kinds of ice creams, and even yogurts. There are so many organic
products Campina could potentially offer. Because of the wide range of organic products this
company could offer, market segments could be targeted, if not all of them. There is a product
out there for every single person in the world, it is just up to Campina to target them all and meet
their needs, if decided upon.
