U ovom radu daje se izvještaj o istraživanju i obrada građe jednoga grobnog humka iz ranoga brončanog doba, zvanoga Mala glavica, smještenog na kosi Matakov brig u selu Podvršje, sjev. ist. od Kadra, blizu jedne brončnodobne gradine zvane Mali Šibenik. Humak je istražen u okviru praktičnoga terenskoga rada studenata arheologije Filozofskoga fakulteta u Zadru 1986. godine. Imao je promjer 14x15 m I visinu 0,70 m, jer je dosta oštećen odnošenjem kamenja. Sastojao se od zemlje i kamenja. Bio je izgrađen tako što je najprije obzidom od kamenja označen krug promjera oko 10 m koji je zatim ispunjen čistom zemljom crvenicom debljine oko 20—30 om i na im podlogu polagani ostaci spaljenih pokojnika, pa pokriveni naslagom kamenja i zemlje, prvotne visine oko 1,5—2 m. U humku su otkrivena 4 oštećena groba s ostacima spaljenih pokojnika, od kojih su tri bez grobne škrinje, a jedan sa škrinjom od neobrađenoga kamenja. In this paper the author researches medieval parishes in the Međimurje area. The paper concentrates on the 14th and the 15th century since first parishes in written documents appear in the beginning of the 14th century. The medieval Međimurje area falls under Zagreb bishopric in church organization and under Hungarian Zala county in political organization. Parishes situated in this area will be studied based on written documents, archeological findings and by analyzing priests' lives with the help of priest register. Furthermore, churches are examined with the help of analyses of art historians, as well as their location. Parishes are divided in „lowland and highland parishes“ according to their geographical characteristics. Economic aspects of particular areas are also taken into account and church organization is analyzed as well based on two registers from 1334 and 1501. The southern parts of the Pannonian valley, particularly its peripheries – the valley of the Sava River and the lower course of the Danube River – were areas particularly favorable for the establishment and development of centers of the oldest farming cultures in this part of Europe. The extraordinarily favorable agricultural conditions provided for the sudden development of Neolithic cultures and a rapid break with the older Mesolithic forms of life and opinion.
