BYZANTINE "WARRIOR" BELTS IN THE MIDDLE DNIEPER REGION (6—7TH CENTURIES) Summary. Belt sets belonging to the Early Byzantine tradition of the second half of 6th — first half of 7th centuries are found in the Middle Dnieper region in hoards of Martynovka type and belong to the Slavs being bearers of the Penkovka and Kolochin culture. The Penkovka culture corresponds to the Antes known from the written sources, while the ethnonym of Kolochin culture bearers is unknown. Distribution of such belts is indicative of military and political ties of the Antes and the Eastern Roman Empire, as well as of formation of ‘princely’ or ‘warrior’ culture among the Dnieper Slavs. Key words: Antes, Penkovka culture, Byzantine Empire, belt sets, Martynovka.

Byzance à Conques? An Unrealized Dream of “Neo-Byzantine”Architecture in Nineteenth-Century France2023 •
Open-Access article – Taking as starting point an unrealized project for Conques by Jean- Camille Formigé, the architect of the abbey-church’s restorations in the 1870s–1880s, this paper explores the broader theories and practices of historicist restoration and building projects between the 1840s and the end of the nineteenth century. By looking firstly at the theorical frame in which the concepts of “Byzantine”,“Neo-Byzantine”,“Romano- Byzantine”and “Romanesque”were fabricated, and by then examining some of the most important monuments of historicist architecture (such as Saint-Front in Périgueux, the Sacré-Coeur), I aim to uncover the impact of these terms and their role in the reinvention of medieval art as well as in the formulation of racist, colonial, and national myths in modern art history. In these crucial years for the development of the discipline of art history but also for the formation of a French national identity, the role of the “Romano-Byzantine”and “Byzantine”styles reveals a tension at the intersection of religious revival, orientalist art history, and trans-Mediterranean – and perhaps also colonial – desires.

Digital Identity Scale: A Validity and Reliability Study2024 •
The purpose of this study is to develop a reliable and valid scale for measuring digital identity definitions, digital personalities, self-presentation strategies, communication styles in digital contexts, and digital identity perceptions of digital environment users over the age of 18. This study is significant since it is the first scale study on the subject of digital identity in Turkish literature, filling a gap in the field and creating a unique, reliable and valid scale. The process of developing this scale consists of many phases. First, in-depth interviews were conducted with 18 people and an item pool was created by reviewing literature and data obtained. Item numbers were reduced according to the view of experts. Expert opinions were obtained using the Lawshe method. Afterwards, the pilot study was applied to 278 participants for construct validity. Following this, the main study was conducted with 511 participants. After the data was collected, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were carried out. The scale's validity and reliability was tested and approved. The result of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was a scale with 28 items and 3 factors. These findings are deemed important so that this scale can be considered a reliable and valid measurement tool.
