BIODIVERSITY AND HUMAN HEALTH A project of the Centre for Health and the Global Environment, Harvard Medical School, under the auspices of WHO and UNEP. BIODIVERSITY AND HUMAN HEALTH Goal: To educate policy-makers and the public about the dependency of human life and health on the health of other species and on the integrity of global ecosystems. BIODIVERSITY AND HUMAN HEALTH The two-year project has established seven working groups with scientists and public health professionals from both developed and developing countries. Targeted at decision makers (2003). •Technical report, written for scientists with complete references that can be consulted; will be placed on-line by early 2004. •A contribution to the section on human health in the final report of the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment (2004).
