İlk Yazılı Kaynaklarına Göre Oğuzlar Teŋri mi Yoksa Taŋrı mı Diyordu?2024 •
In publications about Old Anatolian Turkish, two different forms of a word are encountered: taŋrı (/tan͡grı) and teŋri (/ten͡gri). In fact, it is sometimes seen that the same work includes binary readings in the form of both taŋrı (/tan͡grı) and teŋri (/ten͡gri). While different readings and acceptances create inconsistency, it allows to think that the same word had two different phonetic variants in the mentioned period. This existing view has necessitated some determinations and evaluations about why it should be read as taŋrı or teŋri. Reading a word in two different ways in the same historical period without any reason creates a problem in terms of language studies and language characteristics of the period. With this study, which aims to determine whether the teŋri form or the taŋrı form was used in Old Anatolian Turkish; It has been concluded that the teŋri form did not exist in the mentioned period and that the Oghuzs pronounced the word as taŋrı with a back vowel since their first written sources.

Built lives: Khwajasaras, Jouno-Karmis, and the Politics of Non-Normative Kinship and Citizenship in South Asia2023 •
This paper examines how relationships are 'built' among khwajasaras [non-normative non-binary persons] and female jouno karmis [sex workers] in two sites in Pakistan and India respectively. We focus on the non-normative nature of these relationships, first, to disassemble gender normativity itself; second, to argue that the colonial legacy of bureaucratic norming of kinship in South Asia, anchored in legal consanguinity and affinity on one hand, and territory and patriarchy on the other, erases these found relationships. Finally, in formulating what we term, 'relative kinship'-authenticating one's identity and belonging as a citizen typically through a male kin-we trace the current impetus in Pakistan and India to algorithmically converge biographies and biometrics to recalibrate citizenship. We ask, how may we understand the built lives of those deemed by the state to be legally out of place as 'aliens' or 'foreigners'. Through the lens of kinship and gender modalities in marginalized communities, the article has wider implications for thinking about the kinship-nation continuum and the ways in which one does or can belong, if at all. On a crisp spring morning in 2019, I (Hussain) sat with Naseem 1 at her 2 derra. Naseem's derra was on the outskirt of Islamabad, near the shrine of Sufi Barri Imam. From there, a street crowded with out-of-school children playing next to sewage water and cow dung led to her house. Located in a nonregularized settlement close to Quaid-e-Azam University, the neighborhood of semi-concrete houses was mainly populated by working-class families from This is an open access article under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs License, which permits use and distribution in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited, the use is non-commercial and no modifications or adaptations are made.

APPLICATIONS OF GIS AND URBAN DATA ANALYTICS TO LAND USE PLANNING2023 •
GIS and urban data analytics are increasingly being used in land use planning as they enhance effectiveness and provide a spatial framework for the visualization, analysis, and interpretation of complex geographical data, which would be cumbersome using conventional means. This paper highlights the key role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and urban data analytics in contemporary land use planning. This paper also examined the concepts, identified GIS and urban data analytical tools used in land use planning, and identified challenges associated with GIS and urban data analytics in land use planning. The integration of GIS and urban data analytics emerges as a fundamental approach to creating well-structured and sustainable urban environments.
We are immersed in the so-called digital energy network, continuously introducing new technological advances for a better way of life. As a consequence, numerous emerging words are relevant to this point: Internet of Things (IoT), big data, smart cities, smart grid, industry 4.0, etc. To achieve this formidable goal, systems should work more efficiently, a fact that inevitably leads to power quality (PQ) assurance. Apart from its economic losses, a bad PQ implies serious risks for machines and, consequently, for people. Many researchers are endeavouring to develop new analysis techniques, instruments, measurement methods, and new indices and norms that match and fulfil the requirements regarding the current operation of the electrical network. This book, and its associated Special Issue, offer a compilation of some of the recent advances in this field. The chapters range from computing to technological implementation, going through event detection strategies and new indices and meas...

Evaluation of Asymptomatic Malaria Status in Eastern of Afghanistan Using High Resolution Melting Analysis2020 •
Background: Malaria is threatening more than half of Afghanistan population. Asymptomatic malaria is notable problem against malaria controlling strategies. In this study we evaluated the asymptomatic malaria status in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan in 2017. Methods: Overall, 296 finger blood samples were taken on DNA Banking Cards and microscopic slides from asymptomatic individuals in Jalalabad city. We used a novel post real time PCR high resolution melting analysis beside microscopy and semi-nested multiplex PCR to evaluate status of asymptomatic malaria in this city. Results: The prevalence of asymptomatic malaria in Jalalabad city was determined 1.7% (5/296), 7.43% (22/296) and 7.78% (26/296) by microscopy, Seminested multiplex PCR and qRT-PCR-HRM, respectively. Out of 26 positive cases were detected by qRT-PCR-HRM, 21, 1 and 4 cases were detected P. falciparum, P. vivax and mixed infection of P. falciparum and P. vivax, respectively. Conclusion: Our data indicating on existe...

Práctica docente reflexiva como estrategia para el fomento de las innovaciones en los centros escolares2024 •
Understanding local nature is fundamental to fostering a comprehensive global viewpoint. As technological advances shape our pedagogical tools, life virtual reality birds in pedagogical innovative for their nests using sewing stitches applications out for its potential educational impact. Though its promise in educational settings is widely acknowledged, especially in science, technology, mechanical engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, there is a noticeable decrease in research exploring efficacy in arts of sewing stitches applications. The present study examines the effects of nature and life virtual reality birds in pedagogical innovative for their nests using sewing stitches applications-mediated interventions on cultural education. in greater detail, embarked on a journey into local nature through an immersive 360° life virtual reality birds in pedagogical innovative for their nests using sewing stitches applications experience. As part of our research approach, we conducted pre-and post-intervention assessments to gauge participants' grasp of the content and further distributed psychometric instruments to evaluate their reception of their nests using sewing stitches applications as an instructional approach. The analysis indicates that their nests using sewing stitches applications' immersive elements enhance knowledge acquisition but the impact is modulated by the complexity of the subject matter. Additionally, the study reveals that a tailored, context-sensitive, instructional design is paramount for optimizing learning outcomes and mitigating educational inequities. This work challenges the "one-size-fits-all" approach to educational their nests using sewing stitches applications, advocating for a more targeted instructional approach. Consequently, it emphasizes the need for educators and their nests using sewing stitches applications developers to collaboratively tailor interventions that are both culturally and contextually relevant.
