Corruption Prevention as a Practice towards Excellent Governance2019 •
A healthy governance system can lead to a sustainable community as envisioned by treaties and conventions on development of the society and the world as a whole. Corruption Prevention is a very young term used in the Philippine Governance System which promises a more sustainable solution to fight corruption. In a long line of jurisprudence in the area of public accountability, it has been the practice that government anti-corruption crusaders run after culprits, after the latter, had amassed a large amount of government funds; a whistle-blower "blows" out information in an illegal government transaction, or a recurrence of a complaint in the same government frontline service. The preparation and the long legal process of fighting individuals committing such infraction of law on public accountability, is evident, and sometimes the art of legal battle among seasoned lawyers now becomes the subject of the issue and not the illegal act that should be corrected and never again be emulated. Corruption prevention practice in government envisions preventing corruption in happening by means of instituting concrete and implementable control and preventive policies in government processes through the use of an extensive research/corruption prevention audit tool/s. This study seeks to explore the possibility of instituting reforms through systems studies of government processes towards excellence in governance. The dilemma of this infant specialization in the fight of corruption is the lack of acceptance and internalization of the value of corruption prevention in government organizations presumably due to want for information or just getting tired of thinking that there still hope in fighting corruption.
Abstract: The success of county-funded development projects in Kenya is often hindered by conflicts among stakeholders. This systematic literature review aimed to examine the strategic conflict management styles that affect the success of these projects. A comprehensive search of 40 latest APA references (2015-2022) was conducted using Prisma systematic literature review. The results showed that ineffective conflict management styles, such as avoidance and competitive styles, were significantly associated with project failure, while collaborative and compromising styles were positively linked to project success. The study also found that stakeholder engagement, communication, and trust-building were essential components of effective conflict management. The findings suggest that county-funded development projects in Kenya should adopt strategic conflict management styles that promote collaboration, compromise, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project outcomes.

This is an investigation into the possible link between the NATO missile bases in Italy and the terrorism of the Red Brigades, and then between that terrorism and the most recent phase of Al Qaeda. The result is surprising: there are culprits, there are new names, and political motives for detective stories that still give work to the judiciary today.

to materialize them since they are just one click away and doing so requires less resources. The greater feasibility is due to the knowledge that the optional partner is willing to initiate a romantic (and sexual) relationship: their mere presence on a dating site clearly indicates it. Hence, the major challenge of current lovers is not finding love, but maintaining it. The role of knowledge in the current romantic environment is multifaceted. On the one hand, there is much more available information provided by many digital platforms. On the other hand, the provided information is often superficial and there is less profound information that requires time to be acquired. Section 2 describes the nature of romantic abundance in current society and the difficulties associated with this abundance. Even if love is "in the air," the air is often too thin and polluted to permit the development of long-term profound love. I suggest considering romantic abundance as an affective background framework of possibilities, which is similar to moods. Section 3 discusses the role of emotional intuition and deliberate thinking in the romantic realm. Following Spinoza's claims, I indicate the feasibility of a third capacity, intuitive reasoning, which combines the two and has the greatest truthful value. This capacity is expressed in expert knowledge and is crucial in order to act optimally in times of romantic abundance. Section 4 examines the role of intuition and deliberate thinking in initiating romantic
