Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing = Desensibilización y Reprocesamiento por Movimientos Oculares La Terapia EMDR®, también llamada TRT-Terapia de Reprocesamiento del Trauma, es un abordaje psicoterapéutico validado científicamente, aceptado y recomendado por las organizaciones líderes en salud mental del mundo como la Organización Mundial de la Salud. La terapia EMDR tiene una amplia base de reportes de casos publicados e investigación controlada que soportan a este modelo como un tratamiento validado empíricamente para tratar un amplio espectro de poblaciones, como aquellas con trastorno por estrés agudo y trastorno por estrés postraumático, trauma complejo, trastornos de personalidad, ataques sexuales, de pánico, duelo complicado, trastornos disociativos, trastornos de ansiedad, adicciones, fobias, temas de la autoestima, veteranos de guerra, problemas somáticos/ trastornos somatoformes, incluyendo dolor crónico, dolor por un miembro fantasma, eccema crónico, problemas gastrointestinales e imagen corporal negativa; drogodependencia, adicción sexual y jugadores compulsivos; disfunciones familiares, conyugales y sexuales; víctimas de catástrofes naturales o producidas por el hombre (terrorismo), así como gente de negocios, artistas y deportistas que se han beneficiado de la terapia EMDR como herramienta para aumentar su rendimiento. In every society, numerous processes of change are operating simultaneously which bring about variations and modifications in its structure and functioning. However, the rate and direction of change vary from one society to another. Since the past few years there have been myriad changes and shifts in India's traditional society. Many determinants like education, urbanization, migration and other socio-cultural reasons have been influencing these changes in the conventional Indian society. Of these changes one that has received deep attention is the changing status of women. Women being exposed to education and paid labour force have been the two important modernization factors which have to a great extent led to change in the status, position and role of women. The article results from the field-based study of Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. The present article tries to summaries caste-wise discrimination, source of livelihood, socio-political status, and participation of women in diverse positions.

Abstract When talking about Latin American literature, it is possible to find mul tiple representations of the diverse violence that has flourished in the continent, such as the Southern Cone Dictatorships, or the Colombian historical period known as La Violencia (The Violence). Although we must affirm that the political, historical and social processes differ according to the territory, determining the way in which violence appears and develops, it is possible to look for approximations to those processes in order to locate convergent points between the literatures that narrate the events and pretend to remember them. This dissertation looks forward to finding relations between the ways of constructing memory in the two novels that are framed in different types of violence: Albalucía Ángel’s Estaba la pájara pinta sentada en el verde limón, text that narrates the Colombian era known as La Violencia, and Nora Strejilevich’s Una sola muerte numerosa, a testimonial novel that tells the tale of the author’s experience and abduction during Argentina’s Dirty War. This thesis consists of an analysis that contemplates remembrance and oblivion, the difficulty of narrating horror and grief, and the limits between mourning and melancholy, elements that are fundamental for the construction of memory inside the literary and aesthetic artifacts that the novels are. Resumen Dentro de la literatura latinoamericana es posible hallar múltiples representaciones de las diferentes violencias que han brotado en el continente, tales como las dictaduras del cono sur, o la era de La Violencia colombiana. Aunque debamos afirmar que los procesos históricos, políticos y sociales difieren entre cada territorio, determinando así las formas en que las violencias aparecen y se desarrollan, es posible buscar aproximaciones a dichos procesos para localizar focos de relación en las literaturas que narran lo ocurrido y pretenden recordarlo. Este trabajo busca establecer relaciones entre las formas de recordar de dos novelas que se enmarcan en violencias diferentes: Estaba la pájara pinta sentada en el verde limón, de Albalucía Ángel, que narra la era de La Violencia colombiana, y Una sola muerte numerosa, de Nora Strejilevich, novela testimonial que vuelve sobre el secuestro de la autora durante el Proceso de Reorganización nacional en Argentina. Esta tesis se teje a partir de un análisis del recuerdo y el olvido, la dificultad de narrar el horror y el dolor, y los límites entre el duelo y la melancolía, elementos fundamentales para la construcción de memoria dentro de los artefactos literarios y estéticos que son las novelas.

Fossil ichnites of hominids found in Argentina are identified and described. The age of the sediments was determined using radiocarbon dating, by Uranium, OSL and paleomagnetic signatures of the sediments, along with an analysis of the associated megammalian tracks and their fossil bones. We conclude that the fossil ichnites dated about 30 ka BP.

IntroductionCapillary hypoperfusion is reported in asymptomatic adults at‐risk for Alzheimer's disease (AD), but the extent that can be explained by reduced flow in intracranial arteries is unknown.MethodsOne hundred fifty‐five asymptomatic adults enriched for AD risk (mean age 61 years) completed arterial spin labeling (pcASL) and 4D‐flow MRI sequences. Voxel‐wise regression models investigated the relationship between mean flow in bilateral cerebral arteries and capillary perfusion, and tested potential moderators of this relationship.ResultsMean arterial blood flow through middle cerebral arteries (MCAs) and internal carotid arteries was positively associated with perfusion in large cortical clusters (P < .05, false discovery rate corrected). O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar o potencial produtivo e a interação entre genótipos e ambientes em 550 acessos da Coleção Nuclear de Arroz da Embrapa. O desempenho, a adaptação e a estabilidade produtiva de cada genótipo foram avaliados por meio da metodologia de análise dos efeitos principais aditivos e interações multiplicativas (AMMI), em nove experimentos de campo, realizados em seis Estados, em condição de sequeiro e irrigada, durante três anos agrícolas.
