The purpose of the present study concerns the examination of a scenario involving the visualizing of content at mobile devices-platforms and their respective applications. The scenario follows certain design principles that cater for interaction with inexperienced users within the interface of mobile devices. The visual design of an artifact obviously influences the way in which a user will interact with it. Gestalt laws and principles form one possible framework for the collection of helpful design guidelines. Based on field research, a prototype has been developed according to these principles. The results of a evaluation by users on the proposed visualization of content, are finally discussed. Vizualni dizajn a...

In present research, a comparative study is conducted between designs of various mobile applications in terms of their usability. It includes review of design guidelines to suit the mobile platform. This research studies the growing need for developing mobile applications for various websites. Purpose: Purpose of this research is to understand the reason behind success and failure of an application on mobile interface. In this study, existing popular applications have been explored and evaluated against the existing design guidelines in order to compute their usability. Existing guidelines have been grouped into generic design guidelines and specific design guidelines for Mobile Interface Methodology: Existing mobile applications have been clustered into five different groups depending upon their functionality and services provided to the user. An empirical study has been conducted to select the popular applications from the users in the form of Questionnaire and Interviews. In addi...
A mobile programme (mobile UI) is that the graphical and frequently touch-sensitive show on a mobile device, like a smartphone or pill, that permits the user to move with the device's apps, features, content and functions. Mobile programme (UI) style needs square measure considerably totally different from those for desktop computers. The smaller screen size and bit screen controls produce special issues in UI style to confirm usability, readability and consistency. in an exceedingly mobile interface, symbols is also used additional extensively and controls is also mechanically hidden till accessed. The symbols themselves should even be smaller and there's not enough area for text labels on everything, which might cause confusion.

Abstract: Mobile devices as smartphones or PDAs are common in our daily life. Museums and art galleries provide electronic guides in order to do more pleasant a visit or exhibition. The problem tackled in this paper is to prove the suitableness of using a PDA, instead of the traditional guides. In this case an application was specially developed to provide users that are visiting the museum additional information and help. It is interesting to know how to adapt these devices to guide and improve visitors' experience.
