Uma etnografia do neonazismo na Internet , 2017
Este texto não tem co-autoria. Esta pesquisa busca apreender o universo simbólico das URLs racistas, revisionistas e neonazistas na Internet. O propósito da investigação é, por meio da observação etnográfica das práticas e representações discursivas expostas em sites, portais, comunidades, fóruns, chats e listas de discussão, que abordam este tema, compreender que tipo de relação se constrói entre o espaço digital e a defesa da idéia de "raça ariana", realizada por meus "nativos". Como foco privilegiei os aspectos simbólicos que melhor evidenciam a interface entre estas duas dimensões, por meio da pesquisa empírica e do exercício teórico. A partir deste recorte, emergiram algumas perspectivas relevantes na construção identitária que o racista desenvolve para si e para o outro, tais como as marcas genômicas e mitológicas evidentes em seu discurso, as redefinições da fronteira entre digitalidade e realidade e a luta política "dos arianos", na WEB. O argumento central resultante da pesquisa é de que o neonazismo interpreta simbolicamente o mundo contemporâneo, nos sites analisados, articulando mitos, narrativas e rituais. Neste processo, evidencia-se a elaboração de uma forma específica de identidade: o “teutonismo”. Palavras Chaves: Antropologia. Etnografia. Estruturalismo. Neonazismo. Identidade, Ciberespaço.

A comunidade Awá-Guajá é uma das últimas comunidades de caçadores-coletores que tem a caça como atividade tradicional de subsistência. O material analisado se refere a uma assembleia faunística composta por vertebrados oriundos de descarte da comunidade, localizada na Terra Indígena Caru, no Estado do Maranhão, nordeste do Brasil. O presente estudo examinou essa assembleia do ponto de vista taxonômico e tafonômico com propósito de reunir dados para interpretação dos processos atuantes na sua gênese, usando métodos qualitativos e quantitativos. O principal alvo da pesquisa foram os ungulados, famílias Cervidae, Tayassuidae e Tapiridae, que apresentaram grande quantidade de ossos em diferentes tipos de preservação e evidência de atividade humana, resultando em ossos com marcas de cortes e queima, além de indicar a preferência alimentícia da comunidade por Tayassuidae da espécie Pecari tajacu, porém não houve preferência por nenhuma espécie de Cervidae e Tapiridae. Não houve modificação nos ossos de ungulados para fabricação de ferramentas ou ornamentação, as marcas existentes estão relacionadas com a preparação e o consumo.

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar alguns discursos contendo situações de linchamento virtual (MERCURI, 2016) em discussões políticas no Twitter, identificando nos textos as marcas linguísticas e os fatores ideológicos, culturais e sociais refletidos nas escolhas dos escritores tanto naquele contexto imediato como no de cultura (LIMA-LOPES, 2012). Como o texto nessa plataforma é composto por uma ou várias semioses, propomos uma análise discursiva baseada na junção de duas perspectivas teórico-metodológicas: o Sistema de Avaliatividade (MARTIN e WHITE, 2005) e a Análise Multimodal (BALDRY e THIBAULT, 2006; MARTINEC E SALWAY, 2005, KRESS e VAN LEEUWEN, 1996). A coleta de dados foi realizada com o auxílio do software Keyhole e os autores dos discursos foram anonimizados. Resultados preliminares mostraram que em relação ao conteúdo, os julgamentos que se sobressaíram foram a respeito da capacidade intelectual, da normalidade comportamental e da ética. Embora o texto escrito como único modo foi predominante, nas situações em que era composto com outras semioses, a relação imagem-texto foi determinante para a construção de uma avaliação negativa. Por fim, sugere-se essas formas de análises como parte do currículo do ensino de Linguagens e suas Tecnologias, voltadas ao Ensino Médio e profissionalizante, a fim de despertar senso crítico tanto para compreensão dos linchamentos virtuais como aos multiletramentos necessários para o uso das mídias sociais

Questo numero di Doctor virtualis si interroga sul concetto di ordine e sulla sua valenza all’interno della riflessione medievale: siamo di fronte a uno strumento conoscitivo con cui intellettuali di varia formazione e operanti in ambiti diversi cercano di affrontare la complessità del proprio mondo, oppure, come forse è lecito a prima vista attendersi da un’epoca come quella medievale, a una struttura metafisica già data, di tipo oggettivo, che rappresenta una garanzia rispetto alla disarmonia del mondo e delle relazioni fra gli uomini? Per chi vive nella nostra epoca il disordine, spesso qualificato come frammentazione o complessità, appare la premessa inevitabile da cui partire per trovare, seppure in modo limitato e contingente, sensi possibili, accettando che ciò a cui si giunge non rappresenti mai una garanzia stabile o, per dirla in termini religiosi, una salvezza. Forse anche questo giustifica la persistente attrazione verso l’epoca medievale che, nonostante i molti tratti di presunto buio, sembra avere posto l’ordine, un ordine salvifico, a fondamento di qualsiasi riflessione e a giustificazione di qualsiasi disarmonia. L’ipotesi di ricerca da cui trae origine questo numero è che anche in epoca medievale l’ordine si presenti come esigenza e dunque come risultato di una costruzione che, attraverso i più svariati strumenti conoscitivi, punti a rendere conto del disordine, cercando di sciogliere e dipanare l’intreccio di cause ed effetti che caratterizza i vari spazi del mondo abitati dagli uomini. Per questa ragione abbiamo deciso di intitolare il fascicolo Frammenti di ordine e disordine nel Medioevo, per evitare qualsiasi presupposto che già in partenza definisca un intero compiuto e stabile, e suggerire che anche per l’epoca medievale sia possibile lavorare intorno alla ricostruzione di parti che appaiono disperse nell’attesa che la riflessione le ricomponga.
