The project hotel management system is a web based application that allows the hotel manager to handle all hotel activities online. Interactive GUI and the ability to manage various hotel bookings and rooms make this system very flexible and convenient. The hotel manager is a very busy person and does not have the time to sit and manage the entire activities manually on paper. This application gives him the power and flexibility to manage the entire system from a single online system. Hotel management project provides room booking, staff management and other necessary hotel management features. The system allows the manager to post available rooms in the system. Customers can view and book room online. Admin has the power of either approving or disapproving the customer's booking request. Other hotel services can also be viewed by the customers and can book them too. The system is hence useful for both customers and managers to portably manage the hotel activities.
This project examines the aspect of the hospitality industry which is Hotel management. In the 21st century the use of the internet, computers and other electronic devices have made handling different jobs and aspects of management very easy. This project is the design and implementation of an electronic hotel management system that provides proper management of data and transactions in a centralized and organized manner and also provides a user friendly interface with which the user can interact easily with the just little or elementary knowledge of operating computers. This project is designed to create a platform that allows booth the user and administrator to keep track of transactions like room reservations, room booking, financial administration of the hotel, staff record keeping, online reservation and other day to day activities involved in the running and management of a hotel. The implementation is based on the requirements for a hotel management system. The project work is divided into five major categories which are; Front Desk, Accommodation, Catering, Finance & Account and Personnel Staff Record (Human resource management). This project accomplished the task of building a system that ensures accurate record maintenance which was done through proper identification of customers and the proper designation of user functions with most of the processes being done automatically. An electronic hotel management information system is required to assist management of data in the hospitality industry and also to make the entire hotel management process easier. The project was designed with the use of Microsoft visual Studio which is an integrated development environment made by Microsoft. It can be used to develop console and graphical user interface applications along with windows form application websites. The database system was created using Microsoft SQL server (MSSQL).

A hotel property management system (PMS) is a ‘a set of application programs that directly relate to hotel front office and back office activities e.g. revenue management, reservation management, room and rate assignment, check-in & out management, guest accounting, folio management, account settlement and room status management’ (Kasavana and Cahill, 2003, p. 4). The availability and accessibility of data are vital to those in the hospitality industry. The hospitality industry requires a large volume of data to run day-to-day business operations and to achieve excellent service delivery. Unlike other industries, hospitality is a service-based industry that relies upon an ability to form relations with a customer base (Kokaz Pucciani and Murphy, 2011). As a result, the industry is reliant upon information about consumers and their preferences. These preferences may range from preferred room type to information about personal needs.
This study aims to develop and design an on-line hotel reservation and management system for the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management of the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Batangas Campus. It presents user-friendly features that will familiarize CITHM students on the online hotel reservation system, evaluate it and highlight the benefits it can provide to the college and staff. In addition, it will purvey supplement material in their front desk operation course. The researchers used the System Development Life Cycle and Microsoft Web Developer 2008 as the programming language. The developed software served as a tool for the students of CITHM to familiarize them on how to operate an online hotel reservation system. The developed software was an effective aid for the instructors in teaching the basic operations of hotel reservation system to their students. It also provided online security to protect privacy and financial information of clients.

هدف البحث إلى التحقق من فعالية العلاج المختصر المتمركز حول الحل في تحسن إدارة الغضب لدى عينة من المراهقين. وتكونت عينة البحث من عشرين (20) تلميذًا وتلميذة من المراهقين، ممن يعانون من قصور في إدارة الغضب، وتراوحت أعمارهم من ( 14- 15) عامًا، بمتوسط عُمري (14,450) عامًا، وانحراف معياري قدره(0,510)، وتَمَّ تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية قوامها عشرة تلاميذ (5 ذكور - 5 إناث)، ومجموعة ضابطة قوامها عشرة تلاميذ (5 ذكور - 5 إناث)، واستخدم الباحث مقياس وكسلر – بلڨيو لذكاء الراشدين والمراهقين (تعريب وتطبيق محمد إسماعيل ولويس ومليكة، 1996)، ومقياس إدارة الغضب (إعداد الباحث)، وبرنامج العلاج المختصر المتمركز حول الحل لتحسين إدارة الغضب لدى المراهقين (إعداد الباحث)، وأشارت نتائج البحث إلى فعالية العلاج المختصر المتمركز حول الحل في تحسن إدارة الغضب لدى المراهقين، وأيضًا استمرار فعاليته في تحسن إدارة الغضب لدى المراهقين إلى ما بعد فترة المتابعة (ثلاثة أشهر كمتابعة)، حيث كانت هناك فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة (0,01) بين متوسطات رتب درجات المجموعة التجريبية ومتوسطات رتب درجات المجموعة الضابطة على مقياس إدارة الغضب بأبعاده بعد تطبيق البرنامج العلاجيّ مباشرة، وذلك لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وأيضًا كانت هناك فروق دالة إحصائيًّا عند مستوى دلالة (0,01) بين متوسطات رتب درجات القياسين: القبلي والبعدي للمجموعة التجريبية على مقياس إدارة الغضب بأبعاده، وذلك لصالح القياس البعدي، بينما لم تكن ثَمَّة فروق دالة إحصائيا عند أيٍّ من مستويات الدلالة بين متوسطات رتب درجات القياسين: البعدي وما بعد المتابعة (بعد مضي ثلاثة أشهر كمتابعة) للمجموعة التجريبية على مقياس إدارة الغضب بأبعاده. وفي ضوء الإطار النظري ونتائج الدراسات السابقة ونتائج البحث الحالي تم تقديم بعض التوصيات والبحوث المقترحة.
