Agricultural pollution

Agriculture always stands ahead to fulfill all the needs of the humans. It is the basic strategy altering which a number of modified crops are produced now a day to fulfill the need of increasing population. We are knowingly utilizing several techniques to improve crop yield which may harm us and our environment. The byproducts of the agricultural practices are disturbing the natural components of the environment that is ultimately affecting us in many ways. These byproducts as pollutants are uncontrolled when left untreated. They cause devastation of ecosystems, farm land, livestock and environment all around us. Therefore, we should keep some tab and check on these practices to maintain our surrounding healthy and long living because healthy environment is necessary for the better health and vigor of its organisms.

Consumer society, in order to meet the growing
need for food, agricultural land per unit area required to
achieve maximum efficiency and highest quality product. It is
known that the nutrition of the plant is the one of the most
important factors to control agricultural productivity and
quality. Rates of nutrients in the soil affects the quality of yield.
In the permanent agricultural land, the soil will be very poor
in nutrients, as a result, inefficient. Therefore, producers,
fertilize the soil, combat pests, irrigation and process of
agricultural activities to make more efficient to soil.
Fertilization among these activities remains a priority at all
times. Recent studies, however, excessive use of fertilizers is
the need for additional land outside the public and
environmental health of the reported adverse affects. Excessive
fertilization and mindless, but there were soil salinity, heavy
metal accumulation, water eutrophication and accumulation of
nitrate, to consider in terms of air pollution in the air of gases
containing nitrogen and sulfur, giving and can lead to
problems such as the greenhouse effect. In this review, aims to
reveal environmental and health problems caused by improper
fertilization provides recommendation toward solving these
problems.

Diffuse water pollution caused by agriculture is increasingly recognized as a major contributor to water pollution both in China and in Europe. A great deal of effort has been spent on mechanisms to address such pollution, especially through legislation and policy. The legal challenge for China is to develop an adequate legal framework to tackle diffuse pollution. By providing an overview of the current policy design regarding diffuse water pollution management in both China and the European Union, this article discusses the extent to which the EU legal framework could provide inspiration for China.
