Corrossion

The dissertation investigates the production of nanocomposites based on graphene oxide with a productivity of 100 kg/year. Corrosion, anti-corrosion substances - inhibitors, and the proporties of graphene oxide are all discussed in the introduction part. In the first chapter, the articles published before 10-15 years are reviewed and the materials were chosen and analyzed according to the existing topic. In the second chapter, the experimental methods were used to investigate the anti-corrosive, physicochemical properties of nanocomposite materials based on graphene oxide. In the third chapter, the materials which include nanocomposite materials based on graphene oxide were discussed briefly. The amount of the components consumed was calculated due to their productivity and all the data were written in the table. After that, the productivity of the equipment was defined based on its productivity. Finally, heat balance of the equipment was funded out based on its amount. At the end of the work, the results and recommendations based on the research were noted.

Structural Integrity 2018 will be a 'boutique' conferences with some 50 papers and 100 participants, and strongly cantered around its topic. It will bring together a 50/50 mix of international academics and industry, facilitating interactions between the two sectors.

The marine, offshore and subsea energy industry continues to evolve creating new challenges and risks for the safety, integrity and reliability of its structures and systems. For example, wells are being drilled at greater depths, pressures and temperatures, requiring enhanced assessment of the integrity of structures and systems in such extreme conditions. There is a push to expand operations into new locations such as the Arctic, where environmental and operational conditions are considerably harsher. Many assets in the North Sea are rapidly reaching or have already exceeded their original design life and safe but affordable life extension and decommissioning are becoming major objectives. The recent rapid developments in renewable energy technologies have introduced new challenges of maintaining at minimum cost the reliability and integrity of structures and equipment in remote locations and subjected to extreme loads and environmental conditions. There are also exciting new opportunities, but also significant challenges and uncertainties, in applying structural health and condition monitoring and the novel concepts of additive manufacturing and big data to safety and structural integrity. These and many additional themes will be covered during the conference through survey, focused and/or case studies presentations from the practitioners and researchers in the art and science of structural integrity. Keynote and invited lectures from eminent members of the structural integrity community will also be part of the program.

Different energy densities in Selective Laser Melting produce different metallurgical properties of the product surface, which include adhered powder particles, waviness, porosity, and microstructure. In this research, the corrosion behavior of these structural properties was investigated and compared with heat-treated samples. The size and arrays of α'-martensitic varied significantly due to the effects of different cooling rates and the number of effective thermal cycles caused by different scanning speeds and energy densities. The surface particles experienced different thermal effects that significantly changed their microstructure with each other and with respect to the main surface, which remarkably affected the corrosion properties. The densities, hardness, and tensile properties of the samples were also presented and interpreted their relations with corrosion. These correlations between the metallurgical and corrosion properties of SLM products support biomedical engineers in the further development of bespoke medical devices, especially implants.
