Coins have a value which can be used as a form of payments for certain goods and services. On the hand, coins have uniquely represented the country of origin which have a value on it. This study aims to classify the 20 most traded coin values together including the new coin Philippine currency with its corresponding information which greatly helps people to identify the value of the coin and other relative information of the coin. The study applied the SVM for classification and Canny Edge method for feature extraction and Euclidean distance for coin detection with a result of 100% classification and recognition accuracy with 3.4 seconds in speed of detecting the coin features.

Prediction of lung cancer is most challenging problem due to structure of cancer cell, where most of the cells are overlapped each other. The image processing techniques are mostly used for prediction of lung cancer and also for early detection and treatment to prevent the lung cancer. To predict the lung cancer various features are extracted from the images therefore, pattern recognition based approaches are useful to predict the lung cancer. Here, a comprehensive review for the prediction of lung cancer by previous researcher using image processing techniques is presented. The knowledge of structure of proteins, protein derived compounds and RNA structures in eukaryotic cell is mandatory to understand the functions of these macromolecules.With recent development of Direct Electron Detector Device (DDD) camera and application of maximum likelihood algorithms in volume reconstruction,cryo Electron Microscopy (cryo-EM) enables us to visualize the macromolecules in nearly physiological state. The current resolution limit of cryo-EM can be improved further by applying novel and effective signal processing algorithms after the EM workflow. In this work, a signal processing method has been developed to enhance the resolution of the EM volume through volume restoration techniques. We have proposed a novel technique to estimate the volume degradation function of the volume reconstruction system from the noise-only subvolumes of the observed EM volume. Then the volume is restored (utilizing the estimated volume degradation function) using a combination of regularized Richardson-Lucy and Wiener Deconvolution techniques. In addition to volume restoration, we have employed spatial de-noising techniques utilizing various morphological filters to reduce noise outside the main molecular structure. The experimental results demonstrate that the resolution (evaluated by ourier Shell Correlation curve) and visual quality of the EM volume can be significantly improved using our proposed technique.

Aim of this paper is to notify and protect people from accidents related to fire. Fire is very threatening that brings great loss of individuals and belongings. Yearly thousands of accidents related to fire happen all over the world due to power failure, accidental fire, natural lightning. So to control fire, different frameworks are created and being utilized. We propose device and initial execution of a fire & human detection system using image processing and Machine Learning. Fire telling Systems could improve security of association and social spots. The propose framework is to make a reliable, protected, and savvy framework to Cut down impediments and issues like mutilated cautions, which cause alarm among individuals and surprisingly the deficiency of cash with the utilization of new innovation. Also make the spots protected from the unstable fire.

The IP reuse approach and FPGA-platform-based SoC (System on Chip) with an embedded soft processor is an alternative to design SoCs that allows fast creation and verification. In this paper we address a comparison study between two SoCs architectures based OpenRISC (OpenCores) and MicroBlaze (proprietary) soft processors. The comparison is done for two applications, namely the audio and network applications based SoCs. The SoCs have been prototyped using the Virtex5 XC5VLX50 FPGA. Regarding the SoCs for audio application, the results show that slices are more used in the OpenRISC based SoC while BRAM memories are more used in the SoC based MicroBlaze. Concerning the SoCs for Network application used slices register are slightly different in the two SoCs, BRAM memories and slice LUTs are more used in the OpenRISC based SoC. We notice that power consumption is better for the SoCs based MicroBlaze for the both applications.
