Learning in Development tells the story of independent evaluation in ADB from its early years to the expansion of activities under a broader mandate, points up the application of knowledge management to sense-making, and brings to light the contribution that knowledge audits can make to organizational learning. It identifies the 10 challenges that ADB must overcome to develop as a learning organization and specifies practicable next steps to conquer each. The messages of Learning in Development will echo outside ADB and appeal to the development community and people having interest in knowledge and learning.

We present the experience of the Government of Espírito Santo State within Project Management, explaining realiza+, Managing for Results Program Government Espírito Santo State, which seeks to expand the capacity Government Run Structuring Programs and Priority Projects and deliver results to society. Also present the history that led to program implementation and that the model is guided by three dimensions: people, processes and technology. Finally, we present the results to here by the Government of the Espírito Santo State and some challenges still need to be overcome as the consolidation of project portfolio management, improvement the SIGES and implementation of the benefits of managing programs and projects. The methodology used was the case study, observation with practical experience the authors.
