Spanish: El objetivo del trabajo presentado, es el de experimentar procesos de proyecto arquitectónico basados en las nociones del posthumanismo aplicado a la arquitectura. Se propone por medio del marco metodológico de Investigación-Creación propuesto por Ballesteros y Beltrán (2018), para lo que se realizó la experimentación de los conceptos teóricos en un proceso de proyecto arquitectónico a nivel conceptual. Se presenta como resultado especulativo de un proceso de construcción simbiótico con las abejas, en el que por medio de la fabricación humana son generados espacios arquitectónicos especialmente diseñados para la reproducción y reimplantación de las abejas en el medio ambiente como un recurso de supervivencia para rescatar un ecosistema dañado. El proceso de diseño en PANAL retoma el lenguaje y proceso constructivo de las colmenas y lo reinterpreta mediante parámetros que propician la reproducción de las abejas, mismas que modelan su hábitat en simbiosis con la arquitectura.
English: The objective of the present work is to experiment an architectural project process based on the notions of the posthumanism applied into architecture. It is been proposed through the methodological frame of Investigation-Creation proposed by Ballesteros & Beltrán (2018), by means of experiment the theorical concepts in a conceptual architectural project process. Its been presented as a result of a speculative proposal of symbiotic building process with bees, by means of human fabrication architectural spaces, specially designed for bees’ reproduction and reimplantation in nature as a resource of survival of damaged ecosystems. The design process in Panal (Honeycomb in Spanish) retakes the language and building process of bee hives, as a symbiotic habitat within the proposed architecture.

The Business Process Modeling Notation has emerged as a popular choice for representing processes among Business Analysts and Information Systems professionals. While the BPMN specification provides a rich syntax for the capture and representation of process models, it does not provide any guidance for the organization of the resulting models. As a consequence, large process libraries may become disorganized and hard to manage due to variability in abstraction levels, process interfaces, and activity descriptions. Based on the analysis of a process library in a US government agency we present a proposal for design guidelines and use our design guideline to qualitatively assess existing work on model quality guidance. To better organize models at different abstraction levels we propose a process architecture that allows for the systematic organization of BPMN models for different stakeholder concerns.

The theory of technological evolution and organizational lock-in are based on an empirical foundation where technology is manifested in a tangible product. However, in industries producing chemicals, services, art, health care, or complex product systems, the technological design of the product has limit explanatory power for understanding technological evolution. Anchored in a case study from the pharmaceutical industry, this paper addresses the significance of the technologies and architecture of the R&D process in order to understand dynamics of innovation and technological evolution in such industries. The case shows how the technology and design of the process architecture shape the content of pharmaceutical R&D, enabling and hindering necessary knowledge creation for product innovation.
