The author explains how, at the beginning of the XVIth century, two artists born in the Brabant region of northern Europe, emigrated from their territories, due to the cultural changes which were developing there, and, attracted by the wealth of the Spanish church triumphed in Spain. Arnao de Bruselas becomes the maximum figure of Aragonese-Riojan polychrome sculpture and Roque Balduque the founder of the Sevillian School of Imagery.
