Russia, due to its unique location simultaneously in Europe and Asia, has more than three centuries of higher education cooperation with the European states. The role of higher education cooperation has been defined by the changes in general political context, international relations. Approaches to interaction have varied from attempts to transplant European academic culture into national culture to the severe limitations of any contacts with Western higher education institutions. The chapter explores the rationale and evolution of the role of higher education cooperation between Russia and Europe under the pressure of foreign policy and its changing priorities. In particular, the author considers Russia-EU internationalisation as part of the common trend of rising competition between different countries and regions of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). To understand the challenges for Russia-EU higher education cooperation in terms of the common framework provided by EHEA, the author studies different institutional environments where the universities of Russia and the EU member states implement internationalisation activities. The chapter overviews the policy tools to support the internationalisation of higher education in Russia, highlights the opportunities for Russia-EU cooperation and investigates the challenges produced by national traditions, EHEA and national law enforcement, and university governance practices, which have constrained Russia-EU higher education cooperation.

The article reflects the work done in a cooperation project on people with disabilities in the region of Piura. Is presented with reference to two physical movements, rotation and translation, reference figures that we used to frame all the actions that were carried out before, during and after the cooperation. The main reason for undertaking the project was the motivation provided by the concept of social work as a discipline committed to the reality of those less favored. The project responds to the concern to make visible a hidden group in the reality studied, people with disabilities, with the hope that actions like this will be increasingly in the territory and outside to encourage their development and welfare.

El artículo recoge el camino recorrido por un proyecto de cooperación sobre las personas con discapacidad en la región de Piura. Se presenta haciendo referencia a dos movimientos físicos, el de rotación y el de traslación, como figuras de referencia que nos sirven para enmarcar todas aquellas acciones que se llevaron a cabo, antes, durante y después de la estancia. La principal razón para emprender el proyecto era la motivación existente que brinda la propia concepción del trabajo social como disciplina comprometida con la realidad de aquellas personas menos favorecidas socialmente. El proyecto aquí expuesto responde a la inquietud de visibilizar a un colectivo oculto en la realidad estudiada, las personas con discapacidad, con el anhelo de que acciones como estas ayuden a que se emprendan más dentro y fuera del territorio que favorezcan su desarrollo y bienestar.
