Honors & Presidential Scholars

Paths for Students to Choose From

  1. Honors courses by contract for academically-prepared students.
  2. Presidential Scholars: A learning community that gives high-achieving and motivated students the opportunity to participate in student-centered learning experiences that promote intellectual growth, cultural appreciation, professional focus, leadership development, and civic participation.

Honors

Honors courses are open to any AC student with a 3.0+ GPA.  Students meeting this criteria may approach a professor in any course to ask if they would be willing to work with them to create an extra assignment for honors credit. A student can make any course into an honors course by working with their professor, along with the AC Honors Coordinator, and completion of the required paperwork.
