Who is your favourite villain in each Dragon Ball universe?
Some of you may have already watched this series or read one or the other volume. Dragon Ball:
At the beginning of “Dragon Ball”, Son Goku lives all alone in the mountains. It is only when he meets Bulma and sets off with her in search of the Dragon Balls that he gets to discover the big, wide world. In the process, however, he also encounters one or two villains. While the fight against Emperor Pilaf is still very much a comedy, things get really serious for the first time with Tao Pai Pai. And when he meets King Piccolo, suddenly the whole world is in danger.- 01King Piccolo – Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball Z (Series):
In “Dragon Ball Z”, Son Goku’s brother Raditz appears and tells him that he is a Saiyan who came from the planet Vegeta. During his adventures, Son Goku travels to foreign planets, learns about the existence of other timelines and meets divine beings who watch over this world and the one beyond. The world of “Dragon Ball” expands many times over, resulting in a setting in which not only the earth is in peril but the whole universe.Dragon Ball Z (Movies):
We have dedicated a separate survey to the villains from the “Dragon Ball Z” movies. These characters, who often only appear on-screen for a few minutes, are difficult to compare with the villains from the 291-episode series. Moreover, this list would otherwise have become too long and burst at the seams. Garlic Jr. also appears in this survey, by the way, as he takes on the role of the antagonist in both the series and one of the movies. Hatchiyack particularly stands out here, given that this one is a villain from an OVA.- 01Bojack – Super Dragon Ball Heroes

Dragon Ball GT:
While “Dragon Ball Z” was still running successfully on television, work was already underway on a sequel. Only one week after the last episode of “Dragon Ball Z”, the first episode of “Dragon Ball GT” was broadcast in Japan. However, this series is not based on the successful manga by Akira Toriyama and polarised the fan community upon its release. With the Black Smoke Shenron and the Shadow Dragons, villains were introduced in the very last episodes to close the circle. It all began with the Dragon Balls, and it was to end with them.- 01Super Baby Vegeta 2 – Dragon Ball GT

Dragon Ball Super:
This time, it took 18 years until another sequel was released. The fact that another series was produced at all surprised many fans, who had long since given up hope. “Dragon Ball Super” takes place after the fight against demon Boo and before the last martial arts tournament in “Dragon Ball Z”. The events from “Dragon Ball GT” are ignored here. Akira Toriyama was extensively involved in the creative process again, but the manga is drawn by Toyotarou. And although the universe, the afterlife, and other timelines were already explored in “Dragon Ball Z”, the “Dragon Ball” world is expanded once again. The existence of eleven more universes is revealed, naturally leading to a multitude of new and stronger villains. This time, it is not only the universe that is in danger here but the entire multiverse.- 01Cell Max – Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
