OMG DARK PLACES!!!
i listened to this book within two days. i couldnt take the ear phones out of my ears. i fell in love with unlovable characters.. get through the introduction and start to get to know the characters and you are hooked! haunted! and on your knees begging for more.

Interesting story
I was really intrigued by the story and the mystery of this book, but found it a little boring in places with no enough action towards the end. I disagree with the reviews saying the narrator was too flat, I thought the narration was fantastic. overall definitely worth a listen and wasn't expecting the ending at all!

Dark Places
A great listen. Well read. A bit scary but I had to keep listening to find out what happened. Not real good if kids are listening though as the violence is often graphic and there are some explicit sex episodes. Good though.

Gillian Flynn ran away with my brain again
Every time I think I'm super clever and I've worked out the ending with all its twists and turns, Gillian tackles me and clocks me in the face. Love this story, can't wait to read more from this Author!!

couldn't stop listening
Who could have committed these murders?.... that's what I wanted to know and was interested the whole way through. Lorelei told this story superbly, her voices were spot on and easy to listen to. very keen to listen to more from Gillian... highly recommend

feral and gritty
The characters are mostly feral and its hard to find purchase for connection with them, the story was well written and discriptive but the overall feel of the character made me feel like i need a shower just reading about them and i would just want to avoid them full stop.

Wow, cannot wait for the movie!
I loved Gone Girl. Author is very good in keeping one guessing! Twists and turnes made for long nonstop hours of listening. Some times I would pass my house driving just to hear what will happen next. Growing up in the 80's the storyline was always in the back of every teenagers mind. Still wonders if this could happen under our noses today. Have to have a strong stomach in some scenes. Will make a good movie.
