Meriah L. Crawford has been a private investigator since 2003, working on a wide array of cases including background investigations, accident and theft cases, patent infringement, counterfeiting, harassment, shootings, and murder. About the only thing she hasn't investigated is marital infidelity. In 2006, after she finished her MFA in creative writing, Meriah began teaching part-time; she became a full-time professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in August of 2010.
