Semester Conversion

Cal Poly is currently midway through converting from quarters to semesters. Our first term on semesters will begin fall 2026. The Semester Conversion page is your source for information about this process. 

My Cal Poly Portal

Use the My Cal Poly Portal to access your grades, register for classes, plan your schedule. Access campus email and shared documents. Contact the Service Desk for help.

Academic information

Visit the Office of the Registrar for the academic calendar, information on Degree Planner, Schedule Builder, registering for classes, and accessing your student records. Get details about transfer credits, Degree Progress Reports, and important student paperwork.

Student Academic Services

The goal of SAS is to ensure that all students at Cal Poly have equal opportunity to achieve academic success and graduation. Visit SAS for many resources including with academics or personal skills.

Academic Advising

Academic Advising helps students throughout their time at Cal Poly. From Advising Centers to changing majors to transcripts, Academic Advising helps students get assistance and resources.

Career services

The Career Services department on campus can help you find a student assistant or intern position on campus as well as jobs and internships off campus and in your industry. Find out about job fairs or get résumé and interview help.

Community, Accommodations, and Emotional Support

Disability Resource Center

For those students with permanent and temporary disabilities, the Disability Resource Center provides many support services for student learning and accessibility across campus.

Diversity, Community and Inclusion

Find workshops and programs that support learning how to live and work in a diverse and global society. Visit the Office for University Diversity and Inclusion website for information on how you can get involved.

Campus Health and WellBeing

In addition to ambulatory care, Campus Health and Wellbeing offers lab testing, on-site X-Rays, prescription medications, counseling services, and holistic wellbeing services.

Safer

Safer is Cal Poly’s confidential advocacy, education and support resource for addressing sexual assault, sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

 

Sexual Misconduct or Harassment

Cal Poly’s Office of Equal Opportunity offers numerous support and reporting options for victims of sexual misconduct and sexual harassment. Even if you are not a victim, you can help by reporting such incidents.
