The US cities where people mysteriously never get sick
Researchers at Marian University in Indiana ranked 100 cities in America where people are most and least likely to come down with the common cold - and three cities in North Carolina made the top 10, including one that ranked first. They compiled the rankings by analyzing a number of factors known to cause winter illnesses such as cold temperatures, air quality, population, and the amount of children - who have weaker immune systems and are more likely to pass germs around - in the city. Each city was then given a cumulative score, with a lower score indicating what the researchers estimate is a healthier city and a higher score pointing to a city more likely to be prone to sickness.

One twin ate a high fat diet for 12 weeks, the other ate loads of carbs. The results left researchers shocked
Ross Turner went on a complete high-carb diet while twin Hugo Turner remained on a high-fat diet approach for the time period. For the three-month experiment, both men ate about 3,500 calories each day - 2,500 was gained from three meals and the rest from two snacks delivered by a service called Frive. In the end, only one of them reported having more energy and feeling fitter.
Doctor reveals two-minute exercise that reveals how healthy you'll be when older
According to longevity expert Dr Peter Attia, being able to do the farmer's carry with 75 percent of one's weight is highly predictive of how healthy they will be in the future. It involves standing tall with feet hip-width apart, bracing your core, bending at the hips, and lifting to a standing position, keeping your chest lifted and your back flat. If people can do this, Dr Attia said, experts 'are very confident' that by the time they are in their last decade of life, they 'will have the strength to open a jar, for example, do the types of things we think really matter to people.'

South Carolina Republican Nancy Mace has slammed the Biden administration over reports that more than $10 million in taxpayer funds have been used for studies testing gender transition therapies on mice. Citing findings from the White Coat Waste Project, Mace accused the National Institutes of Health of funding "painful and deadly transgender experiments" involving invasive surgeries and hormone treatments on lab animals. The revelations have sparked outrage among conservatives, fueling broader debates over government spending and transgender research.

Jenna Sirkiä, 25, only discovered the disease was wreaking havoc on her body by chance, thanks to a scan she underwent following a scooter accident. Ms Sirkiä fell from the electric scooter and landed on her stomach, which she blamed for a surge in intense cramping that caused her to faint. But an ultrasound revealed what appeared to be an orange-sized tumor.
The pills making your hair fall out. It's a distressing side-effect, says DR SCURR... but there is an answer
I've been losing a lot of hair daily. I took alendronic acid for osteopenia for about 18 months and then my hair started falling out, so I stopped taking it. I was worried about osteoporosis and was given an alternative, but reacted badly. I started taking alendronic acid again and my hair fell out again, so I've stopped completely.
