DO for Nonprofits & Social Enterprises

Our inaugural social impact program, Hollie's Hub for Good, provides builders with DigitalOcean credits to enable the growth of their programs. Hollie's Hub for Good was created by Hollie Haggans, DigitalOcean's 150th employee, who tragically passed away in 2020. We're proud to remember Hollie, and her legacy will always live on through our new DO for Nonprofits program.

Philanthropy

DigitalOcean gives cash donations to a range of organizations through our employee gift match program, and through company philanthropic initiatives. In addition, we activate our employees to give their time, energy and expertise to organizations through volunteering.

DigitalOcean employees come together to give back to communities around the world.

Our inaugural Day of Service brought together teams virtually and in-person to bring our values to life. Sharks around the world donated their time and talent to non-profit organizations doing important work in our communities. We connected with colleagues outside of the traditional workday and united through a common goal of giving back.

Ersilia uses AI/ML to advance scientific research with the support of DO Impact.

DigitalOcean offered us exactly what we needed. As a new non-profit, we needed infrastructure, and also benefited from DO Impact hosting credits and got help building our solution from DigitalOcean's Ambassador Program.

Helping Students in New York Learn & Use Technology

While servicing over 40 schools in the last few years, reliability and speed has been our top priority when it comes to hosting our online platforms. Digital Ocean allows us to seamlessly scale to adjust to our student base and provide each student with access to over 60 online apps designed to prepare them for a future in technology. Together, we are empowering a future generation of engineers, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs.
