Taking on trail for the first time

Back in May, I spent a couple of days in Taupo with Total Sport’s Aaron Carter. Our goal was to familiarise me with the trail that runners will be taking on at the Taupo Ultramarathon in October. Having run the Kinloch Marathon a few times, I was familiar with that part of the Great Lake Trail, but wanted to experience the rest of this amazing 100-kilometre trail. Along for the run was another Total Sporter Kareem Kaddouri.
