HELLO, NEIGHBOUR!
We are pensioners who, together with our friends Danie and Lenore Joubert, undertook a three-week tour of the Karoo and Cederberg. The small towns of the Northern Cape – including Williston, Carnarvon, Calvinia and many others – are beautifully clean with friendly people who make tourists feel welcome. Loxton with its Rooi Granaat coffee shop as well as the tiny Middelpos with its old-fashioned charm are some of the hidden gems. Sutherland and the Tankwa Karoo National Park were a once-in-a-lifetime experience that should be on everyone’s bucket list.
