American Ultrarunning Hall of Fame
The American Ultrarunning Hall of Fame has been transferred to ultrarunninghistory.com. Since 2004, the Hall of Fame has existed under the leadership of Dan Brannen, the executive director of The American Ultrarunning Association (AUA), which was dissolved at the end of 2020. Davy Crockett has agreed to take over the leadership of The American Ultrarunning Hall of Fame, which currently has 17 inductees – find out more about these legends at ultrarunninghistory.com.
To be considered for the American Ultrarunning Hall of Fame, candidates must be either retired from competition for 10 years or have reached the age of 60.
Trason Inducted into Hall of Fame
Ann Trason is the 2020 inductee into the American Ultrarunning Hall of Fame in her first year of eligibility. Starting in 1988, Ann set world records at 50 miles, 100k, 12 hours and 100 miles. She also dominated on the trails where she won consistently,
