Food for thought

At 41 years old, Victoria has now been following a plant-based diet for nine years: “I went vegetarian the moment I retired,” she recalls. “I didn’t enjoy or want to eat meat, but I felt I had to.”

A few months later, the nine-time world champion stopped eating dairy. “A plant-based diet suits me really well. I’ve never had a problem with my energy levels, I feel better and I don’t feel I miss anything that my previous diet gave me.”
