…RUSH TO HOSPITAL ONCE MY LABOUR STARTS?

It all depends on how your labour starts. If your waters break, your caregiver will advise you to get to the hospital straight away, as labour may progress quite quickly – and you don’t want to be pushing in the car. If your pregnancy is healthy with no complications and contractions have started, you can stay at home until they become stronger, longer and closer together. By the time you’re having three to four contractions in 10 minutes or they’re five minutes apart for an hour, it’s time to get to hospital.
