It was a Friday night, and I was looking forward to letting my hair down at the pub after a busy week.
IMy mum had kindly agreed to babysit my two children – Rebecca*, 12, and Lucy*, eight.
‘Here you go,’ my friend Becky* said as she placed my second gin and tonic down onto the table in front of me.
I had been looking forward to a night of laughs and reminiscing for a while.
During our catch up, however, I was finding it difficult to concentrate on what she was saying – because a strange man in the corner of the room kept catching my eye.
