A little over 10 years ago, I contributed a chapter on collection development for Spanish speakers to Pathways to Progress: Issues and, edited by John L. Ayala and Salvador Güereña. Since that time, the Spanish-reading community has continued to grow as immigration from Central and South America remains steady.
