• Lizbeth size 10 crochet cotton thread (122 yds per ball): 3 balls #610 cream 1 ball each #670 Victorian red and #683 leaf green lt
• Size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle

Rnds 1–4 = 21/8 inches across points; fptr, [ch 1, 3 dc, ch 1, fptr] twice = 2 inches
PATTERN NOTES
Motifs are worked with right side facing at all times. Small Motifs are joined in last round to Center Motif with a join-asyou-go technique. Refer to Joining Diagram for placement of Motifs and beginning stitches.
Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Join with slip stitch as indicated.
SPECIAL STITCHES
Scallop: (Sc, hdc, dc, 3 tr, dc, hdc, sc) in indicated sp or st.
Yo twice, insert hook from front to back and to front again around, with WS held tog, insert hook in top of corresponding tr of adjacent Motif, yo, draw through all lps on hook.
