      Did y'all know that just about everyone related to the guy who murdered Lincoln or was involved in that whole tale was absolutely, batshit crazy?
      This was only a 2.5 hour audiobook, and I really think it's worth a listen.
      John Wilkes Booth? Crazy. John's brother? Certifiable. John's brother's wife? Cuckoo. His DAD?! TOTALLY EGFING BONKERS. The guy who killed Booth? Nuts, nuts, nuts.
      I can't believe how insane this book has been. You should give it a shot.

      Unfortunately for Jesse’s other obligations and hobbies, he has to drop all of those and write more of these. Give me a Lee Harvey Oswald next. I love books about Lincoln and therefore, Booth, and this story is fantastic. It’s got everything I like in a book about history and great jokes. The last line is awesome. Was the whole book the longest setup to a punchline of all time? Great work.

      Witty, funny and fast paced story about the actors (some quite literally) behind the Linclon assassination. He cleverly weaves together the tales of very disparate people and how their fates ultimately intertwine. Lots of great information based on historical facts (which I never knew) as well as insights and revelations inro the characters, their upbringings, careers and personalities. Loved it. Great narration by the author too.

      This is THE BEST BOOK I have ever read about the conspiracy. My family had direct involvement and thank God did not make it into this book! This is not just about the killing of Lincoln, but a great look back on the personalities that shaped America including the real and the strange! I'd love to buy a copy of this book, may copies, and distribute it to every high school and college history class across the land. This is the stuff that makes history come alive.
