      Very exciting and full of action thriller. I haven’t read much from this author but seemed different than her usual style but that was okay. Also really liked the narrator. Highly recommend if you look for a thrilling and deadly adventure in the woods!

      Went into this without any expectations beyond the warning that the first 1/2’s a bit rough - to which I partially disagree - there’s one rather obnoxious incel type character… but thankfully there are multiple perspectives and while I didn’t enjoy his portion he and the rest of the characters are well developed.
      Very interesting story idea, great pacing and excellent narration. Will definitely look into more by both the author and the narrator.

      New listening to this author. Was a great book with looks of twisting plots. Normally I can guess who done it was very surprising who did it.

      Why do you people have such negativity towards alot of authors on this site. You don't like it, so what. You drone on and on about how you couldn't get past blah blah.....have some etiquette.

      This is a complete thriller, great characters with believable dialogs. Suspenseful and excellently read/acted by narrator. Tragedy abounds and the author's ability to project his vision was spot on. Not a horror story but definitely a very well done thriller. The ending tied up all loose ends but a little too neatly for me. Great pick.

      If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. The twists and turns in this book were so good. I was listening towards the end and was in the parking lot with my mouth wide open. This book made me late for work. It was not predictable and as a thriller mystery geek, I noted few if any flaws. This is the second book I’ve read from this author, and I can’t wait for the next. I only wish we could see this on the big screen!

      As another reviewer said, if you can push past the first 40% or so of this book, it’s a good read. It kept me guessing as to what was happening and why for a long time. I wasn’t sure if I was reading a thriller or a horror novel and it was fun figuring it out. Loved the ending. Really well done. Just remember the original narrator is a 22 year old and it’s easier to ignore the whiny self righteousness of that particular character and once you’re out of his perspective it all really gets moving! Happy reading
