That seems a long time! But it’s a very satisfying activity, one that offers the chance of research and the delight of immersing oneself in someone else’s problems for a while, even though they are creatures of one’s own imagination.
Now that I am inevitably coming to the end of that creative period because, as we know, time waits for no man (or woman), I can look back with much pleasure on a full life in which I have achieved many of the things I hoped for at the start. What is left? Well, I do have a vague idea for another book, but not just yet!view less
