He is currently in his 31st year as a sports writer for the Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat and Chronicle, and his primary beat for the past 27 years is coverage of the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills, making him the longest-tenured day-to-day beat writer in franchise history.He is a 2009 inductee into the Frontier Field Walk of Fame which honors Rochester’s most decorated athletes, coaches, administrators, teams, and media personalities.
