Through the workings of her own charity for underprivileged teenagers, she was called to sit on other charities as well, including child abuse, the Children’s Judicial System, and the raising of donations for children.
After twenty-three years of work, she handed the reigns over to new board members.
She and her husband, Shaun, together have eleven children and nine grandchildren.
