Kirsty O’Callaghan is recognised as a leader in her fields of resilience, relationships, results and parenting, and works in collaboration with all her clients. As a business owner, trainer and executive consultant for over 20 years, a mentor and public speaker since 2009, and a FIFO wife for seven years, she understands the issues workers and their families face when they are separated by work. Kirsty’s clients include plenty of these workers and children. She has lived and worked in Sydney, Townsville, Melbourne, and now is based in Brisbane.
Kirsty has appeared as a panellist on Toddlers to Teens TV and featured on ABC, 101.5 FM and Health Professional radio. She is a member of Lions, a member and ambassador for Womens Network Australia, a friend of Moreton Bay Creative Community Inc (MBCC), and a member of Queensland writers centre. Kirsty writes for numerous publications, including MOM Mouths of Mums, Family Australia magazine, Working Women Magazine, Prevention Magazine and has contributed to the Sydney Morning Herald. She regularly runs workshops and keynote speaks around Australia.
Kirsty and her husband have made mistakes and done thousands of hours of 'separated by work’ time, which places her in an ideal position to offer an insider’s understanding to all aspects of this life - saving the reader of Separated by Work frustration, time and money. Over the years many people have asked Kirsty why there wasn’t an inclusive workbook that could help them. Instead of being left to sink or swim, her answer was to write a book that fills this gap.view less
