His adaptation of David Guterson's Snow Falling on Cedars has been performed at many theaters across the United States, including Portland Center Stage, Centerstage Baltimore, Hartford Stage and Theatreworks in San Jose, California. His adaptation of Tolstoy's Anna Karenina was commissioned by Portland Center Stage and premiered there, and was a part of the Denver Center's 2018-19 season. He lives in Seattle with his wife Jane.
