She attended the Univers...view moreRaised in Boston, Massachusetts, Fabiola Powell was born in the central republic of Africa before immigrating to the United States with her family in 1973. She attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned a BA in English and social thought political economy, with a minor in African-American studies. In 1998, she received her M.Ed in counseling psychology from Boston University and has served as a professional school counselor for more than a decade. Currently, she is pursuing an advanced degree in mental health counseling and enjoys working with children and adolescents. Mrs. Powell enjoys time with her family, loves to travel and bake, and serves in ministry alongside her husband. The couple resides in Massachusetts with their two children.view less
