He was ordained as an elder in the Evangelical Church in 1971 and commissioned as a chaplain with Nursing Home Ministries, Inc. in 2000. Ron and his wife, Janice, have been married for forty-five years and have lived and ministered in Lebanon, Oregon, since 1990. They have three grown sons and six grandchildren.view less
