As an artist, Jocelyn is naturally inclined to share her experiences in any creative outlet that feels right to her in the moment. She is currently working toward a BFA in graphic design at DePaul University. Jocelyn grew up in Little Village, a southside neighborhood in Chicago. Her mom made her read a lot as a kid, and she used to hate it - but gradually, she found herself buying books herself and finding comfort in bookstores. Eventually, she started writing and relishing the freedom within her own words.view less
