Writing since the age of 13; she has had book signings at numerous churches, bookstores (including Barnes & Noble), and womens conferences.
She is also involved in her community, reading her poetry at hospitals and retirement homes. In December of 2007, she qualified for the semi-finals at the Tampa, Florida Poetry Slam.
This is Sandras third published book. Her previous books were titled, From the Heart, and From the Heart: Lesson From A Sparrow. Sandras work has also been published in several Anthologies through the Library of Congress.view less
