They have three adult children and four grandchildren. Rev. Greene was educated in the Chatham County School System, where she earned her diploma upon graduation in 1966. She attended Cosmetology school and received her Cosmetologist license in 1975. She accepted Christ as her Lord and
Savior in May 1980 and went on to further her education, by attending Elon College (now Elon University) in Elon, North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies in 2001. She attended Shaw University Divinity in Raleigh, North Carolina where she earned a Master of Divinity in 2006. Rev. Greene was called to the office of Pastor by the Eastern
North Carolina Association of the Southern Conference in 2007, and where she is still Pastoring today.
It has not been an easy journey, but God has always shown Himself strong on my behalf. I am reminded of the song " who's side are you leaning on, leaning on the Lord's side". If it had not been for the Lord on my side, I can truly say I don't know how I could make it. Glory. God has been amazing in the life of the church. We continue to pray and look to God as God move us forward in all things.
