He received his master’s in mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (India) and in computer science from the University of Waterloo (Canada), and his doctorate in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (India). He obtained his Bachelor of Divinity in Theology from Serampore College (Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, India). After teaching mathematics and computer science at a few colleges and universities in India for twenty-six years, Dr. Sathiaraj served as a research consultant for the India Missions Association, a coordinating body of mission agencies in India. His calling and vision is that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD (Habakkuk 2:14). Since 1990, he has also been the editor and publisher of News for Praise and Prayer, a bimonthly publication of World Christian news that encourages the Church to pray for the (persecuted) church and to praise God for his work around the world. He lives in Hyderabad, India with his wife, Pansy. He has two children and two grandsons.view less
