When she was 17, she moved to the “big city” to attend the University of Louisville. Louisville became her home for the next 30 years. During this time, she built a career in information technology as a technical project/program manager. In 2011, a career opportunity presented itself and, after living in a 60-mile radius her entire life, she moved to Long Beach, California. Throughout her life, animals have been a part of her family. When the move to California occurred, this was no different; she packed up and drove cross-country with two dogs and a cat.view less
