His calling to be of service to others has led him to expand his outreach, and he currently serves as spiritual advisor to A.F.A.R. ("A Future for Rehab"), a local non-profit organization offering transitional sober-living housing in Southern New Jersey, where he sits on the board of directors. Bob's first book of prose and poetry "My Mind's Fingers" was published in 2023 and has received great reviews exceeding expectations. This new volume incorporates weekly and daily meditations; principles of recovery; and more insightful poems, prose, and essays on living life one day at a time. With the guidance of a Higher Power and his devotion to prayer and meditation, Bob has come to believe in a newfound freedom; a spiritual life based on the power of sobriety and service.
