I immersed m...view moreI am a young woman living in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a child my family traveled the country, and, as a result, I went to eighteen different schools between Colorado and Florida. I immersed myself in reading and writing as a way to make sense of the characters I met along the way. I believe in the beauty of the glorious and the derelict alike. I believe that love is everlasting, and the only thing worth dying for. I believe that heartbreak is necessary, and the more pain you feel, the more capacity for joy you have. I love the darkness and the light; the glamorous and the downtrodden, and I try to weave all of that into my writing. I am slightly pretentious, and slightly self-deprecating. More than anything, I am a poet and a writer, and if my work reaches one person, then I will be complete.view less
