Known as "Mr. W" to his students, he taught Career Exploration classes at a big city middle school and coached both the boys' and girls' basketball teams. His first book, "Those Amazing Kids in Mr. W's Class," was released in 2022 to critical acclaim. Woodard continues to coach basketball, coordinate online discussion groups, and provide teaching and consulting via Zoom meetings to teachers, schools, and students across the country.view less
